Indian Papri Chat

Serves 8-9

Ingredients For Papri

  • 1 kg All purpose flour(maida)
  • 200 gm Ghee
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup sooji(rava)
  • Oil for Frying
  • Water according to requirement

  1. Mix sooji ,flour and ghee properly.
  2. Then add water in this mixture and make a tight dough.
  3. Now give rest to this dough for 30 min.
  4. Now heat oil for frying but oil should not be very hot otherwise your papri will be crisp from outside and tender from inside.
  5. After 30 min on a flat surface make a big roti of this dough and cut this roti in stripes and then cut triangles out from the stripes.
  6. Fry these triangles on medium flame till they turn into light brown in colour.
  7. Your papris are ready you can store them for 1-2 month in air tight containers.
  8. Serve this with chutney of your choice.
