Recipe of Healthy Poha

Serves 3-4

1 cup Poha
1 Onion
1/2 Boiled Potato
1 Roasted Peanuts
1/2 tsp mustard seed
1/4 tsp red chilly powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tbsp oil
1/4 tsp green chilly
pinch of black salt
salt according to taste


Soak poha in 1 cup of water for 1 min and then drain out all water and spread poha on muslin cloth or big strainer and keep aside for 5-10 min. Poha should be moist but not mashed.

Heat oil in separate wok, add mustard seeds in this oil.and when they splutter and curry leave

Saute for half a minute and add onions. boiled potato and roasted peanuts continue to saute.

Add green chillies and mix. Add salt, red chilly powder,and  turmeric powder and mix.

Saute for two minutes  poha. Mix and cook till poha is heated through.

Add black salt and lemon juice and mix lightly. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
