Recipe for Punjabi Mutter Paneer

Serves 3-4
Ingredients:
  • Mutter 200gm
  • Paneer 1/2 kg
  • Onion paste 2 Tablespoon
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 Tablespoon
  • Tomato puree 1 cup
  • Red chilly powder ¼ teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder ¼ teaspoon
  • Coriander powder ½ teaspoon
  • Salt according to taste
  • Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Kasoori methi ½ teaspoon
  • Garam masala ¼ teaspoon
  • Cream 1 tablespoon
  • Cardamom 2-3
  • Cinnamon 2 inch
Method:
  • Put oil in cooker and let it simmer on hot stove.
  • Add cardamoms and cinnamon in the oil.
  • Add onion ginger garlic paste in the cooker.
  • Saute this till oil leaves the masala.
  • Add red chilly powder, turmeric powder coriander powder and salt in cooker.
  • Again saute this for a minute.
  • Add tomato puree in cooker.
  • Again saute this till oil comes out of the masala.
  • Add kasoori methi and garam masala and then add cream in this masala.
  • Again saute this for a minute.
  • Add mutter cubicle diced paneer in the masala.
  • Add water in the cooker and cover the cooker.
  • Put cooker on high flame wait for 2-3 whistles.
  • Then put this on low flame for 10 minute.
  • Add coriander leaves for garnish while serve hot with chapati or rice.
